Dave overlooking Omaha beach where the majority of US troops came onshore - and the majority lost their lives. Through the tree you can see the graves. so many of them! I believe around 6,000 men and women lost their lives that day and on the following few days. Very well maintained, beautiful, and peaceful setting. Almost a reverent feeling abounds.
